Yacht & Glass: nature merges with design and technology
A new expression of contemporary design in the ‘Yacht’ system by Modulnova, a concept representing harmony between the purity of volumes and the wealth of natural materials. In this design project, the interplay of Appennino marble and Classic walnut wood, with its continuous, enveloping grain, creates a context that enhances a sense of well-being and cosiness.
  • Carcase: Raw classic walnut
  • Top: Matt honed Appennino marble
  • Boiserie panelling: Appennino marble, ‘Sense’ finish
  • Door: Yacht system in raw Classic Walnut
  • Mirror: Blade Bronze
  • Door: ‘Glass’ in Bronze glass
  • Shower cladding: Matt honed Appennino marble
  • Partition-wall system: ‘Solid’ in raw Classic Walnu

The warm shades of Appennino marble cover the central section, consisting of a 10 cm top and a slatted back panel that highlights the continuity of the veining. The wall is entirely clad with a back panel in Appennino marble, in the ‘Sense’ finish: a detail that involves several senses thanks to the pleasantly material-effect and bush-hammered effect of its pattern, which enhances the texture and roughness of natural stone, exalting every detail with unprecedented visual and tactile appeal.

The elegant and tailored approach of Modulnova gives rise to the Yacht system. The main feature is the door, made with sensitivity and fine craftsmanship: finished using folding technology, it is slanted at 30 degrees and has a perceived thickness of 3 cm in 1 cm. The Yacht door in Classic walnut wood envelops the impressive central section in stone, projecting from the top by 4 cm, thus creating a unique aesthetic effect. The seamless vertical design of the grain extends harmoniously over the entire surface of the door.

The architectural design is also echoed in the ‘Solid’ element, a partition-wall system that subdivides the space with its natural effect, consisting of vertical slats in Classic solid walnut wood. Solid can fulfil a multitude of design functions, providing an interesting opportunity to enhance spaces.

A Bilico ‘Glass’ door leads into a sophisticated and elegant space, a shower entirely clad in marble.
The charming Bronze glass enclosure is an integrated system of possible options, expressing meticulous attention to detail.
The new ‘Glass’ system is presented here in the Porta Bilico version, fitted with a pivot opening system with floor-to-ceiling fixing. The Metal Bronze lacquered frame is integrated and concealed within the single vertical profile. The surface of the transparent, full-length ‘Glass’ door is visually lighter.

Driven by a passion for beauty, attention and care to detail, Modulnova redefines the aesthetics of the design project, also celebrating a return to origins, to the inherent charm of natural materials with a pure design that expresses timeless elegance.
