The centrepiece is an elegant floating island that pays tribute to the power of nature. High-impact materials like Walnut Wood in the new Moka finish with warm chocolate tones and the fascinating Silver Roots Marble are combined to create a striking effect. The marble has streaks that branch out like ancient roots on a hazelnut base, creating a powerful contrast reminiscent of thousand-year-old trees. Each marble slab is unique and a natural piece of art. The island, which rests on a stone base and a double metal blade, is entirely covered in wood and stone.

The base of the island is designed to integrate a dishwasher as well. This is a significant innovation in the world of floating islands, which typically do not have enough space to include large appliances, often posing a structural limitation to this type of solution. The focus on integrating technology and design has led to the successful creation of a door that seamlessly blends with the stonework at its base. The ribbed door, made from Moka Walnut wood, which is part of the Groove programme, showcases a new milled design that creates a smooth perception of space. The island comes with a highly innovative feature known as the Vertical groove, a new handle-free door opening system that transforms the kitchen’s design and aesthetics. This handle-free vertical opening system is a cutting-edge addition to the Modulnova project, and also introduces a unique element in the market. In the Vertical system, the door protrudes by 5 cm and conceals an LED light source that emphasises the interplay of full and empty spaces and enhances the material combinations.
